The Elephant by Slawomir Mrozek
The Elephant is about a zoo keeper who wants to get a elephant but instead he gets a inflatable elephant because its cheaper.
His two employees have to blow the elephant until its full. The employees get an idea they put gas instead of air into the elephant because they were really tired they blew for about 3 hours, when they fill the elephant with gas they set it up all the way at back of the zoo and they set up railing so it wouldn't fall over. The first people to enter the zoo were a bunch of class room kids from the local school, when they got to the zoo the teacher started to tell facts about the elephant. The elephant is around 9,000 to 13,000 pounds it is one of the heaviest animals on earth besides the wheal. After the teacher told them a bit more facts the wind blew the elephant so the flew out of the zoo and hit a cactus and popped. Therefor the kids got mad that they were getting tricked and they stopped believing elephants.
